FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
*OPTIONAL $10 DONATION*
We invite you to a free low-key community gathering at The Bridge with Hudson Valley Social Club, paired with an atmospheric DJ set by Val.
This month's theme is: Rest & Restoration. Now that we’ve spent the year immersed in a chaotic spree of activity, it’s time to take stock of where we are and what we want for ourselves—both in the present moment and for the year ahead.
Rest doesn’t always sound like an exciting option, but it’s necessary for growth, for healing, and for dreaming. During periods of deep rest, we can sink into the shadows and confront the darkest parts of ourselves. When we’re ready, we can emerge from our cocoons restored and inspired to discover whatever’s next in our paths.
For this gathering, we ask you to bring an object or activity that symbolizes what rest means to you—whether it’s a puzzle, cozy socks, an eye mask, a scarf you’re knitting, a precious stone, a box of cookies, a teabag containing your favorite brew, or something else that has meaning to you.
About Chill Hangs:
Hudson Valley Social Club and The Bridge present the Chill Hang, a new tradition co-created by our community. Whether you’re a friend or a new face, a next-door neighbor or a traveler from afar, we invite you to break bread with us at this monthly themed gathering. Inspired by the desire for genuine connection and using magic rituals to create shared experiences, this event encourages guests to connect and share their most authentic selves with each other.
At every Chill Hang, we’ll serve light refreshments and provide metaphysical tools & toys from the apothecary to play with. Come meet your neighbors, collaborators, and future friends, and please feel free to bring anyone else along. We can’t wait to hang with you!
Your Contribution:
We appreciate it if you RSVP to help us plan the refreshments and to participate in each month’s themed request. You’re welcome to contribute an unopened, pre-packaged drink or snack, or you can donate up to $10 to help offset our hosting expenses.
