To do this, the daily thinking mind has to rest so that the conscious creative mind can emerge at the forefront.
Yoga nidra is a practice, a state, and a goddess supporting our ability to rest in order to truly be awake.
The practice of yoga nidra gives us the chance to clear out the judgmental and repetitive thoughts that often block or cloud our way when turning inward.
Yoga nidra offers a pathway to compassionately see and connect with the most radiant parts of your being.
We will begin with gentle movement to shake off the day. With cushions and blankets, we’ll set up our nidra nests. Once supported by props, we’ll connect into the practice, state, and goddess of yoga nidra.
We’ll softly close with warm tea and a sharing circle for reflection.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Libby Nicholaou (she/her) is a yoga and meditation practitioner who is dedicated to building community and sharing practices that support people in accessing inner clarity, intergenerational healing, and equanimity.
She has completed over 700 hours of training, including tantra meditation, yoga Nidra, restorative yoga, and prenatal yoga. She supports people in achieving better sleep, releasing tension, and healing aches, especially for the postpartum body.
Libby offers practices that bring awareness to the subtle body, creating spaciousness in the mind, vibrance in the body, and compassion from the heart.
