Remember You is a mama’s circle that offers you the space to rest and be witnessed by other mamas who are caring for themselves as an act of collective care. You will be guided in yoga nidra, reflect with self inquiry prompts, and share in conversation with other mamas.

“The transition to becoming a parent is one of the most profound things anyone will ever do–hands down.”

—Samantha Meltzer-Brody

“This is what we call the phase of transition or the liminal space – when you are between the old and new sense of Self. Liminality is a time of darkness. The tunnel. The forest. It is in this space where a deeper sense of knowing yourself emerges. Where the process of alchemy breaks us down and a truer, more integrated version of ourselves can emerge…but not without struggle.”

—Vanessa Bennett

The moment you become a mother is the beginning of an incredible transition into a new version of your life. You walk through a door as an individual and enter the other side as a parent. It is a marvelous moment - whether felt as spiritual, traumatic, or anywhere in between - that has now transformed your sense of self. As your little one continues to grow, there are more life transitions that have the potential to connect you with a deeper sense of self.

The theme for this circle is The Transitions of Motherhood. We will begin with a yoga nidra practice to cultivate awareness of the transformative transitions in your motherhood journey. There will be space to share how parts of you have grown, evolved, changed, healed, mourned, died, and learned from these transitions. You will leave with a practice for honoring the next transition you go through.

“In giving birth to our babies, we may find that we give birth to new possibilities within ourselves.”

—Myla Kabat-Zinn
