This hands-on, experiential workshop is an opportunity for you to learn how to make one of the most well known and celebrated herbal infused oils: Mugwort oil. Leave with a bottle of oil to start your body oiling self care practice this summer!

Mugwort oil is a deep green herbal infused body oil widely known for properties supporting physical and spiritual well being. Mugwort is a moving herb that helps relieve the body of stagnation. Mugwort is also aromatic, and helps awaken the senses and bring forth a sense of vitality to the body during times of lethargy. Mugwort aids in the release of tension due to temporary ailments commonly associated with the menstrual cycle such as cramping, ovulatory pain, constipation, and abdominal bloating. Mugwort can also help stimulate the lymphatic system, and encourage healthy blood flow to occur around dull or damaged skin.

Many people misunderstand how to make herbal oils, making them in ways that result in lackluster oil that is not as potent as it could be. By coming to this workshop, you’ll learn how to handcraft high quality mugwort oil and all about its therapeutic properties. You’ll learn my refined techniques for oil crafting as you spend ample time with this special plant, including tips and suggestions that I’ve picked up over years of making my own medicinal oils and applying them effectively to clients, myself, and loved ones like.

It’s the perfect time of the year to learn how to make mugwort oil, as it can be gathered all summer long for oil crafting. Gathering in community to make mugwort oil can cultivate our agency regarding how we can support our health naturally, and can increase our sense of creativity, resiliency, and deep reverence for Mother Earth’s bounty. I’m looking forward to sharing with you all about this amazing plant as we engage with the always inspiring world of healing plants, and supporting you to prepare exceptional mugwort oil for years to come.
