Leaves of Change: Tea & Qigong for Social Transformation with Alexandria Gianakos, LMT

*Sliding Scale: $50-75

Space is Limited; Pre-Registration Required

Interested in moving fluidly in your body while standing statically?

Curious how seasonal tea can connect you to personal and collective change?

Join Alexandria Gianakos, LMT to learn how qigong, tea, and community conversation can connect us with larger systems of change.

In this 75-minute session we will explore core Qigong stances & movements to engage our minds in physical practice. We will then settle into a communal tea session to drink tea that is perfectly paired with the season.

Inquisitiveness and play will guide our time with tea as we discuss our Qigong practice and how we are experiencing this season’s change.

Participants will leave with tea to take home and experiment with.

In Chinese Medicine's Eight Branches of health, Qigong is the discipline of movement. By clearing channels, regulating organs and creating flexible and pliant bodies we create resilience for ourselves and communities.

A Qigong practice will explore how presence, synchronized breathing and stretching can help us inhabit our bodies in the context of time & place.
