Kirtan Night Fundraiser with Cody Rogowski & Friends

*Sliding Scale: $15-35

Join us as we unite our voices in song and our hearts in service, raising funds to nourish our neighbors affected by the SNAP suspension.

As many of you know, due to the government shutdown SNAP payments are expected to be halted and recipients will not receive their assistance for November. SNAP—The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as food stamps) provides food assistance for nearly 1.8 million low-income New Yorkers. SNAP is a huge part of making the Kingston Farmers Market an accessible place for all, and the interruption puts many individuals and families in Ulster County in a position of food insecurity.

Please join us as we come together in song to raise money for this important cause.

Bring your voices & join us for a heartwarming evening of live music, mantra & melody.

Kirtan is an ancient yogic practice using call and response singing of simple mantras that settle our minds, open our hearts, and connect us through the joyful vibration of group song.

Whether you’re a seasoned kirtan enthusiast or new to the practice, this experience is open to all.

100% of the profits will go to the Kingston Farmers Market ‘Market Greens Fund’ to keep food insecure community members in our community fed through the government shutdown.
