Castor oil is a perfect medium to deepen the delivery of herbs that promote liver, endocrine, and reproductive system health. Castor oil has been clinically shown to reduce inflammation and promote immune health by way of the lymphatic system. This thick, viscous oil is often applied to the pelvis, abdomen, thyroid, and breasts to encourage circulation through the soft tissue of the body. It is the perfect oil to have on hand to encourage rest and rejuvenation for tissues of the body that are inflamed and in need of relief.
Many people misunderstand how to make herbal oils, making them in ways that result in lackluster oil that is not as potent as it could be. By coming to this workshop, you’ll learn how to make high quality herb infused castor oil, as well as all about its therapeutic properties. You’ll learn my refined techniques for infusing castor oil with herbs as you spend ample time with this special carrier oil, including tips and suggestions that I’ve picked up over years of making my own herb infused oils and applying them effectively to clients, myself, and loved ones like.
As we begin to round out the summer season and approach cooler times to come, it’s a great to come together with others to learn about herbal remedy crafting with this years’ herbal bounty, which we can employ in the fall and winter seasons to come. Spending time with plants and making natural remedies with our hands can be an incredibly grounding and healing experience in and of itself.
