Cacao circles are one of many ways to hold a sacred gathering in which participants come together collectively to individually connect with their hearts and experience life through a new perspective aided by the healing qualities of cacao.
A plant revered by the indigenous people of the Americas, cacao has received widespread recognition through its usage as the key ingredient in chocolate. For the Maya people, cacao is utilized as a sacred medicine for celebration and as part of their fire ceremonies, helping people get rid of negativity, release emotional suffering, and experience universal love.
In this circle, we will gather together for a brief meditation and breathwork experience that will allow us to fully arrive and ground into the space. The cacao will be shared as we all set intentions and drink together.
Information related to the nawal/energy of the day and the Maya cosmovision will be shared, and you will then be guided into a sound journey or meditation where you can fully relax and receive the benefits of cacao and sound healing.
There will be space afterwards to share as much or as little about your process as you’d like, as well as guidance for integration post-circle.
